Boost Breakfast Welcome

Published on March 26, 2014

Looking to increase revenue to school food service, improve attendance, reduce classroom behavior problems, and help students do better academically?  Please join Michigan Team Nutrition and United Dairy Industry of Michigan as they welcome national child nutrition expert, Dayle Hayes, to Michigan to help support our state's efforts around boosting school breakfast participation. Dayle will facilitate four regional trainings and one virtual training around a newly developed online Boost Breakfast Toolkit, the importance of school breakfast, how to increase participation, and how doing so can positively impact attendance and academic achievement. Schools are encouraged to bring building level teams that include administrators, teachers, parents, facilities managers, school health staff, school nutrition professionals, and health champions. No team? No problem. You are welcome to attend the training as an individual. Registration is required. Click the "Registration" link below to register. Questions? Contact Whitney Vance at
